Jawa helmet, jacket, accessories for owners launched – Price revealed

There are many who are still waiting to get delivery of Jawa motorcycles. Jawa’s social media accounts are filled with comments and replies from angry customers who have not been given the bike, or any update regarding delivery. There are some who have even gone ahead and cancelled the booking because of not getting any update even after waiting for more than 6 months to get delivery. They are now waiting to get refund of the booking amount.

Jawa maintains that the production is in full swing and so are the deliveries. They are on schedule to start deliveries of dual channel ABS equipped Jawa motorcycles by end of this month, revealed founder of Classic Legends. Ahead of that, the company has unveiled a range of accessories and merchandise to go with the bikes.

Most of these accessories are dual purpose, i.e. they help improve the bike’s visual appeal and add functionality as well. To make them more appealing, Jawa has given interesting names to the accessories. For example, the classic grab rail in matte black shade has been named the ‘Guardian Halo’. This is priced at Rs 749 and intended to make the ride safer for the pillion. Next on the list are crash guards that are available in chrome and matte black finish. Chrome unit costs Rs 1,599 whereas the matte black unit is priced at Rs 1,499.

Customers who may need to carry stuff at the back can opt for matte seat spoiler, which will be used as a base to install the rear carriage. This is available for a price of Rs 999. Different types of rear carriages are available, priced between Rs 399 and Rs 999. These are a must-have for customers planning long distance touring on their favourite Jawa motorcycle. For a trendier look, Jawa fans can choose bar end mirrors, which are available for Rs 1,499.

Merchandise on offer includes riding gloves, t-shirts, helmets and riding jacket. Most affordable merchandise is Jawa branded t-shirts, priced at Rs 899 each. Next are the open-face helmets, Corona and Halo, priced at Rs 2,349 each. Visor is included with both helmets. Riding gloves come at Rs 2,499 and they get a fancy name, ‘Gritty Gauntlet’.

Costliest merchandise is the riding jacket, priced at Rs 7,499. It has been designed in collaboration with riding gear manufacturer Rynox and offers KNOX CE Level 1 shoulder & elbow protection.

Though the list of official Jawa accessories and merchandise looks fairly limited, the company has stated that more such stuff will be launched in the future. Jawa has kept its customers waiting for a long time and it would be great if deliveries begin at a fast pace from this month end. Accessories and merchandise will make sense only when customers get to ride their Jawa.
