Jawa delivery estimator launched for customers waiting since Nov 2018

Jawa Motorcycles were launched in India back on 15th Nov 2018. It has been close to 8 months now, and there are customers who had booked Jawa in the first week, who are yet to get delivery of their motorcycle. What was upsetting these customers was the fact that neither Jawa dealer nor the company officials updated these customers about delivery date.

Finally, Jawa has heard the voice of their customers who are waiting for delivery since Nov 2018. They have now launched an online website, where Jawa customers can check the approximate delivery date of their Jawa motorcycle.

In order to check the delivery date of your Jawa, you need to enter the booking id (case sensitive) and the mobile number you had used to book the Jawa. Some customers have got the delivery date, but some customers are reporting that the website does not work. In some cases, it tells customer that their Jawa booking has been cancelled, while in others it says Booking id not found.

Jawa Motorcycles said, “We’re live with our Delivery Estimator! This gives you a delivery window of bookings done till 25th Dec 2018. We’d said your motorcycles will be home by Sept 2019, and are working towards that. The delivery status of bookings made after 25th Dec. at dealerships, will also be out soon. Stay tuned!” You can check the delivery date of your Jawa here – https://www.jawamotorcycles.com/delivery-estimator

Back in April 2019, Jawa had said that they will deliver all motorcycles which were booked until then, by Sep 2019. In the latest update, they have said that they will deliver only those bikes which have been booked till 25th Dec 2018, by Sep 2019. That’s potentially 11 months waiting, for a customer who booked Jawa in Nov 2018.

In the video below, which was shared by Times Drive channel in April 2019, Jawa CEO talks about delivery of Jawa and internet trolls. He also says that the quality of Jawa bikes is top notch, though there are a few Jawa owners who have complained about Jawa quality on social media.

Issues reported include rusting of parts like chain, exhaust, chassis, nut and bolts as well as water-clogging in speedometer. Skip to 2:55 in the video below to listen Jawa CEO talk about delivery of Jawa motorcycles.
