After opening showrooms in Pune and Bangalore in the last few days, Jawa Motorcycles have now reached the North of India, and opened their first showrooms in Delhi and Gurgaon. A total of 5 Jawa showrooms were opened today.
The first one is Kandelwal Motorcraft; which is located on the Ground Floor, Rani Jhansi Road. The second one is Cruise Automotive Pvt. Ltd.; located at 44/3, Tilak Nagar. The third one is Kirat Sartaj Motors, located at 383/10B, East Azad Nagar; fourth is Kripa Automotive, located at #-9, BLK-A, Gujranwala Town and the fifth is Chahal Automobiles, located at GF, SCO 93 IDC, MG Road, Sec.14, Gurugram.
At these Jawa showroom, you will not only be able to check the new generation Jawa and Jawa 42, but also test ride them. Bookings too are open. If you have not booked online, you can book Jawa bikes at the showroom by paying a sum of Rs 5,000.
Both Jawa and Jawa 42 are available in two variants – One with rear drum brake, and one with rear disc brake. The former one comes with front disc brake and single channel ABS while the latter gets dual disc setup with dual channel ABS. Price of Jawa single ABS is Rs 1.64 lakhs, while dual ABS costs Rs 1.73 lakhs. Jawa 42 single ABS is Rs 1.55 lakhs and dual ABS is Rs 1.64 lakhs. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Jawa Motorcycles are powered by Mahindra Mojo based single cylinder 300 cc engine. This engine delivers 27 hp and 28 Nm of torque via six speed gearbox. Primarily, the Jawa and Jawa 42 will compete with Royal Enfield 350.
But seeing their price range, the Jawas could also be competing with other bikes in the segment like Bajaj Dominar, Mahindra Mojo, KTM Duke 250, etc. Jawa Motorcycles are being manufactured Mahindra plant near Indore.
