Jeep Compass Limited Plus boasts of outstanding features. It receives bi xenon projector headlamps, a large panoramic sunroof and 18” dual tone alloy wheels. The Limited Plus edition measures 4,395mm in length, 1,818 mm in width and 1,640mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase measuring 2,636mm and gets ground clearance of 206mm and boot space of 438 liters with total kerb weight of 1562 kgs.
Interiors boast of outstanding safety and comfort features. It gets an 8 way power adjustable driver seat with 4 way power lumbar support and memory function. The 8.4” Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system comes in with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Safety features include side and passenger airbags, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Brake Assist, Hill Assist, Electronic Stability Program, Tractional Control, Engine Immobilizer and Central Locking. It also receives child lock safety, automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers.
Jeep Compass comes in powered by a 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel offering 171 bhp of power at 3,750 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm and is mated 6 speed manual gearbox. There is also a petrol engine option on offer. This is in the form of a 1.4 liter engine delivering 160 PS and 250 Nm. It gets manual as well as automatic transmission. Jeep has an even more expensive offering of Compass, called the Trailhawk variant. It is priced at Rs 26.8 lakhs.
