This recall affects 11,000 units in India and orders have been issued to rectify the non compliance to emission regulations that the current software could be causing. The recall includes Jeep Compass models manufactured during the period December 18, 2017 to November 20, 2018 and is only applicable to the 2WD diesel variants and not to the petrol powered or 4WD diesel variants. The recall will commence from March 2019. The company and its dealers will be contacting customers to bring in their models for an upgrade.
