The Jeep Grand Cherokee is all set to be launched in India anytime soon. Through its official Indian website, FCA has revealed the variant lineup of its luxury SUV which will be pitted against the likes of Audi Q7, Mercedes GLS, Volvo XC90, etc.

The full sized American SUV will be available in Limited, Summit and performance-oriented SRT trims. All the three will be imported into India as CBU as of now.

The Grand Cherokee Limited is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine which is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox to produce 240 PS and 570 Nm of torque. 4×4 system is standard. The Limited comes equipped with 5.0-inch U-Connect infotainment system, powered front seats with memory and heating function, electrically adjustable ORVMs with heating and memory function, off-road terrain selector, powered tailgate, multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, and so on.

The Summit offers 8.4-inch touchscreen for the touchscreen infotainment with 506W audio system amplifier, powered steering wheel adjustment, ventilated front seats, etc. Buyers can also specify their Grand Cherokee Summit with a high-end Harman Kardon music system with rear seat entertainment package and 19 speakers, satellite navigation, limited slip differential and panoramic sunroof. Summit too gets the 3.0-litre oil burner.

The higher variants get 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The range-topping SRT houses a 6.4-litre Hemi V8 petrol engine which is also mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The performance SUV has 475 PS on tap. The SUV gets sportier AWD system, track mode and launch control.
