JLR cars from Bond movie Spectre revealed by Miss Moneypenny herself

The cars from Jaguar Land Rover, which will be featuring in upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre; were officially revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The three cars which were revealed are – Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender. These machines were revealed in presence of Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny) and David Bautista (playing Mr. Hinx in the movie), John Newman British singer and musician; and members of the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).

Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender cars that appear in Spectre are not regular variants. These are beefed up to meet the gruelling demand which is needed to perform those night chase scenes shot in Rome, providing edge of the seat action.

The Jaguar C-X79 was earlier seen in the form of a concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with two turbine engines. For its design and development, Jaguar partnered with Williams Advanced Engineering of the Williams F1 Team before giving up altogether on its production.

The Land Rover Defender that stars in Spectre has been modified with new roof racks, winches and massive tyres. The Range Rover Sport SVR, which is the most powerful Land Rover ever, is also seen in the movie. This high performance Land Rover gets modified with a number of accessories and roof mounted LED light bar to cater to the demands of challenging terrain and snow covered mountainous roads as all scenes for Spectre are being shot in Austria.

James Bond’s Spectre is set for global release from October 2015. You can have a look at the trailer below, after the image gallery.
