While dining at a restaurant in the five-star JW Marriott Hotel on Senapati Bapat road in Pune, little did Pritam Kinara and her husband realize that they will be left without their transport back home.
The incident occurred on July 29th between 9.30 pm and midnight. The couple handed over their Mercedes Benz ML 350 SUV to the hotel’s valet staff at the entrance and received a token in exchange. After having dinner, the couple went to the parking to claim their vehicle but were surprised to find that their car had been stolen. A case has been registered and Chaturshrungi Police are investing the case further.
Mercedes Benz ML 350 – MH 12 KY 3187 is priced at INR 85 lakhs. It belongs to Pritam Kinara, 37, an architect who resides at Manhattan Society on Baner Road. The hotel staff state that keys to all cars are kept on a shelf at entrance of the hotel. This does not have a door but a black curtain.
