The Flying Huntsman is nothing short of incredibly rugged and manly, not only when it comes to looks but also functionality-wise according to the specs.
What is envisioned as a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 rival by Kahn Design through Land Rover Defender 6×6 is truly breathtaking and would be wished by many to be put into at least limited production. And the wish could come true. According to Kahn Design, the six-wheeled Land Rover Defender concept has a chance of entering mass production at the design house, if so, possibly in five variants including hard top and pickup body types, in four- and six-wheel models.
Compared to standard Land Rover Defender 110 model, the Kahn Design Land Rover 6×6 is longer by 1,200 mm and wider by 150 mm. Length of the hood is extended by 400 mm and that of rear cabin by 800 mm, adding-up to the 1,200 mm increase in length.
The General Motors sourced 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine develops estimated peak power of 430 bhp and is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The drivetrain includes a hi-lo ratio drive system with locking differentials, and suspension & brakes are tweaked to assist through the treacherous terrains this 6×6 model can explore.
