Standup comedian, Kapil Sharma has once again returned to promote Honda Mobilio MPV. This is the fourth TVC in which Mr Sharma is promoting Honda’s first seven seater car in India.
The association which first started back in June 2014, about a month before Honda officially launched Mobilio in India, has now been viewed online by over 4 million viewers! Not only that the car ticks all the right boxes from a buyers point of view, Kapil Sharma’s involvement in promoting Honda Mobilio has worked wonders.
As a brand name, Kapil Sharma recently featured in the 2015 Brand Trust Report, ranked 487, much above Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and many more. He was also ranked above Sachin Tendulkar!
Launched at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakhs, Mobilio MPV comes in petrol and diesel engine options. Offering best in class fuel efficiency figures, sales of Mobilio surpassed rival Maruti Ertiga immediately post launch. Registering over 5,000 units in sales for the first two months, Honda Mobilio monthly sales thereafter have come down to an average of 3,000 units. At the same time, sales of Maruti Ertiga have managed to stay consistent with 5,000 monthly average.
The launch of this new Kapil Sharma Mobilio ad is expected to bring some attention back to Honda Mobilio.
