Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG made their presence felt at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The event saw a 12 car Mercedes-AMG fleet pressed into service to keep pace with the glam quotient. The high powered vehicles offered exclusive shuttle service, and some were used as display vehicles. For those keen on test drives, AMG was obliging.

With fuel consumption (combined) at 9.1-5.5 l/100km, and CO2 emission (combined) at 213-146 g/km*, the new luxury saloon comes packed with a hot-stone ENERGIZING massage function and perfume atomisation.

The new gen S-Class made it’s debut at Cannes at the Cinema Against AIDS gala evening in aid of the amfAR foundation. Tamara Beckwith, Ankie Beilke, and Selita Ebanks were snapped up next to the new S-Class. Mercedes-AMG presented the world’s most powerful electric super sports car, the SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive. Shuttle vehicles ferried celebrity guests and visitors to “Le Club by Albane” at the Hotel JW Marriott and/or to the Boulevard de la Croisette for film shoots.

Then guests moved to the “Palais du Festival”. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé Black Series on display stood outside the Hotel InterContinental Carlton on the Croisette. The LED wall at the display kiosk played AMG videos for guests. Paris Hilton, Roberto Cavalli, Adrien Brody, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Hübl, Christoph Waltz, Audrey Tautou, Karolina Kurkova, and Dita von Teese were among other stars who were snapped up during photo-ops in the company of Mercedes Benz.
