Kawasaki Ninja H2SX SuperCharged debuts in India at 2018 Auto Expo

Kawasaki revealed their all new new Ninja H2SX supercharged touring motorcycle at EICMA Show in Nov 2017. This supercharged touring motorcycle is based on the Kawasaki Ninha H2 and is seen as an ideal power-cruiser. It now heads to India. Launch is later this year. The bike was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.

It is the first ever production touring motorcycle to be super charged. The 200 bhp (210 PS with RAM air) and 137.3 Nm at 9,500 rpm producing super charged tourer, bearing strong resemblance to the existing Ninja H2, is capable of class leading performance as well as efficiency, all thanks to the super charged engine.

It has a 19 liter fuel tank, which gives a 330 km range on a full tank of fuel. Kawasaki will also offer this new model with a host of safety features among which will be ABS, traction control, wheelie control, keyless ignition and semi active suspension system.

Among its class leading features will also be six axis inertial measurement unit, satellite navigation, heated palm grips and seat and full media connectivity with TFT screen on dash integrated with sat nav functionality.

To help with the touring factor of the motorcycle, H2 SX comes with significantly improved comfort, increased hull size to protect from air, and low speed handling at a steering angle of up to 30°. The trellis frame is completely new, which has been done so as to accommodate a person comfortably on the rear seat. You also have provision to fit bags on the side. The driving position has also been revised, now more erect and comfortable for long journeys.

The differences between the standard model and the SE reside in equipment such as LED cornering lights, TFT LCD color instrumentation, Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM) and KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter). The Ninja H2 SX will be available in Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Matte Carbon Gray and Ninja H2 SX SE in Emerald Blazed Green and Metallic Diablo Black.

Internationally, new Kawasaki Ninja H2SX touring motorcycle price starts at around £20,000 for the base variant going up to £23,000 for the fully loaded model. Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX competes with the Honda Goldwing and BMW K1600 GTL.
