Kawasaki has officially unveiled their all new 250cc sportster Ninja RR Mono. This single cylinder bike was unveiled in Jakarta, Indonesia and will be a fully faired motorcycled for global markets.

Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono will be powered by a single cylinder 4 stroke fuel injected DOHC, 250cc liquid cooled engine with impressive performance statistics. Peak power is slated at 27 hp at 9700 rpm while peak torque is at 22.6 Nm at 8200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission while disc brakes are to be seen on both front and rear. Top speed is at 153 kmph and the Ninja RR Mono will sit on a tube type diamond frame and will be fitted with 110/80/17 and 130/70/17 tyres at front and rear respectively. It also receives a fuel tank of 11 liter capacity while total weight of the bike stands at 151 kgs.

Kawasaki Single-Cylinder 250cc Ninja RR Mono unveiled (1)Measuring a total of 1935 mm in length, 685 mm in width and 1075 mm in height and sitting on a wheelbase of 1330mm, new Ninja RR Mono will be produced from the company’s plant in Indonesia and sales will commence from early March.

Launch in India is also on the cards as the company is said to be procuring a few parts locally. Once launched, Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono could command a price of about INR 2 lakhs while it will be offered in color options of Lime green, Passion Red, Pearl Stardust White and Pearl Shining Yellow.
