Kia India sales were driven by the Sonet, Seltos and Carens which led to strong YoY growth
Kid India, the 6th best-selling OEM in India, has reported their best-ever Nov sales. Sales stood at 25,489 units, a 24% year-on-year growth from 20,600 units sold in the same month last year. This related to a volume growth of 4,889 units. The company did however, see a 14% decline on a month-on-month basis as during the festive month of October there had been 29,556 units sold. Kia India’s market share saw a slight improvement from 5.9% to 6.1% YoY.
Kia’s product lineup in India includes nine models among which are the Seltos, Syros, Sonet, Carens, Carnival, EV6, EV9, Carens Clavis, and Carens Clavis EV. The 2026 Kia Seltos has just been unveiled. Bookings are currently underway for Rs. 25,000 while prices will be revealed on 2nd Jan 2026. Feature updates and new colour options will be the highlight of this compact SUV, though engine specs remain unchanged.
Kia India Sales Breakup – Nov 2025
Kia Sonet was the top contributor with 30% YoY growth. There were 12,052 unit sales last month, up from 9,255 units sold in Nov 2024. MoM sales however, declined by 5% when compared to 12,745 units of Oct 2025.
Carens sales too improved by 15% YoY to 6,530 units, well over 5,672 units sold in the same month last year. However, it witnessed a sharp 26% decline on a MoM basis as festive demand had boosted sales to 8,779 units in Oct 2025. Kia Seltos sales were up 18% to 6,305 units while buyers awaiting the new gen model brought down MoM sales by 12%.
The company’s newest entrant, Kia Syros sub 4 meter SUV, had 544 units sold last month which was a 31% MoM decline over 785 units. There is the new Syros electric SUV currently on test with launch set to take place sometime in 2026.
Kia Carnival, EV9, EV6
Kia Carnival saw its sales decline sharply. With only 58 unit sales last month, it saw a 50% MoM decline. Sales of the expensive and imported EV6 and EV9 demonstrated poor performance. EV9 sales stood at just 1 unit while there were 0 units of the EV6 sold last month.
