Kia India has recorded its best-ever December since inception with sales of 18,659 units, relating to a 105% YoY growth
Kia India was the 6th best-selling automaker in India in Dec 2025, recording its highest ever sales in the last month of the year. The company clocked 18,659 unit sales which was a 108% YoY growth while MoM sales ended lower by 27% as sales had stood at 25,489 units in November. The company also reported a significant increase in its market share which went up from 2.8% to 4.6% YoY.
Kia Sales Breakup Dec 2025
The Sonet, Seltos and Carens Clavis continued to hold buyer’s attention. Kia Sonet was at No. 1 with 9,418 unit sales last month, marking a 182% YoY growth over 3,337 units in Dec 2024. MoM sales dipped by 22% from 12,051 units.
Kia Seltos sales improved by 54% YoY to 4,369 units from 2,830 units while MoM demand fell by 31% as compared to 6,305 units sold in the previous month. The 2026 Seltos has been launched and prices have also been announced. The new Seltos comes with a much improved overall package and is expected to boost Kia India sales in coming months.
Kia Carens Clavis and its EV version accounted for sales of 3,681 units in the past month. It marked a strong 40% YoY growth from 2,626 units in Dec 2024. However, MoM sales fell sharply by 44% as compared to 6,530 units in Nov 2025.
At No. 4 on the sales list was Kia Syros sub 4 meter SUV. Sales stood at 1,116 units last month which was a 105% MoM growth over 544 units sold in Nov 2025. The Syros electric SUV is currently undergoing test with launch set to take place sometime this year.
Kia Carnival – YoY Decline, MoM Growth
With 75 unit sales last month, Kia Carnival has posted a 27% YoY decline. However, MoM sales ended on a more positive note with a 29% increase when compared to 58 units sold in Nov 2025. The company has not seen much demand for its EV6 and EV9 electric models that ended last month with 0 sales.
