Kia Seltos Cabriolet digital render in 7 colours – Looks stunning

Kia Seltos has impressed a lot of probably SUV buyers in the country, largely due to its stunning design. The design is so good, that making any changes to the exterior will probably end up in making the car look bad. A fine example are the digital renders of Kia Seltos modified versions from South Korea.

They added meatier bumpers to the Seltos, and ended up making it look disproportionate and not as appealing as before. So is it possible to make the Kia Seltos even more attractive than it is? Well, Shreyas Sreedhar may have an answer.

How would the Seltos SUV look, if it were to go topless? It would look pretty much the same as imagined by Shreyas in his digital renders, which were shared on his instagram account @shreyas.sreedhar. Seen in multiple colour options, the Kia Seltos Cabriolet does look a lot appealing than the regular Seltos. But at the same time, is it practical enough, especially for a country like India?

Purely imaginary, Kia has no plans of launching such a variant of the Seltos as of now. A rival to the likes of Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos will launch in India on 22nd August 2019. Loaded with features, interiors of the new Seltos have been officially detailed.

Cabin colours include black, burgundy and brown while driver and passenger comfort elements include ventilated seats, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, air purifier, leatherette padding across the dashboard and 8 way power adjustable seats.

Where its infotainment and technology is concerned, the Seltos gets the largest in its class 10.25” touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, UVO connected car technology, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity.

Kia Seltos gets optional Sound Mood Lighting system that emits soft lights from panels in the doors in a unique 3D pattern. This system pulses to the beat of the music playing on the audio system with 8 customizable colors and 6 themes illuminating the cabin. The heads up display unit projects relevant driving information onto a panel behind the steering wheels and also offers vital information in terms of turn by turn navigation, vehicle speed, etc on the HUD.

To be offered in a total of 8 trims, 3 petrol (GTK, GTX and GTX+) and 5 diesel (TE, TK, TK+, TX and TX+) options. Engine options include 1.5 liter petrol, 1.4 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel.
