Massive in stature, abounding in comforts and really tough on the outside, Knight XV offers a combination of 4WD big truck, luxury, safety with all the comforts of a high-end vehicle.
Knight XV is the flagship of Conquest Vehicles of Toronto, Canada and is based on an upgraded Ford 550 super duty chassis. With a total weight of 13,000 lbs (5,897 kg), Knight XV receives its power from a 6.8-liter gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Built of ballistic hardened steel and ballistic fiber glass fenders, it receives 64mm armored glass, ballistic runflat tyres and 20” 6061 aluminum rims which are same as the one’s also seen on a commercial aircraft landing gear.
Interiors are the epitome of luxury for the rich and famous with security features that include external listening device or intercom, siren, night vision cameras and electrostatic window opaquing. It also includes an under vehicle magnetic attachment detector and a security safe based on its rear console.
Seats are electrically adjustable and heated while they face each other. Floors are lined with Wilton wool carpets while a refrigerator, computer table, DirecTV system and Playstation 4 gaming console are also present. Forward and rear facing video monitors are evident as is an armored moonroof.
An Alpine multimedia system, GPS navigation system, parking sensors, stainless steel running boards and remote entry with push button start are also seen on the Knight XV which is limited to just 100 units. Knight XV takes around 4,000 hours to hand build while where price is concerned, it even beats the Rolls- Royce at $629,000 (INR 4,19,88,895).
