Speaking about their new naked bike, KTM says, “The recently presented all-new 1290 SUPER DUKE R is notonly the most potent two-cylinder naked bike ever, it represents everything KTM stands for in riding enjoyment at the highest level.” And why not. The liquid cooled 1,301 cc 75 degree V-twin engine delivers 180 hp peak power and 144 Nm peak torque. This is delivered via a six speed manual gear box to the rear wheel, giving the bike an awesome acceleration time of 0-200 kmph in just 7.2 seconds. (open top Bugatti Veyron does the same in 7.3 seconds).
