KTM 350 SX-F was unveiled at the Orange day in Mumbai this weekend. The bike will soon be displayed at company showrooms in India. The event was held this weekend at the InOrbit Mall in Malad, Mumbai. The bike is eagerly awaited by Indian biking enthusiasts as they were given a taste of what is to come at the EICMA motorcycle show held earlier. 390 Duke which is also equally anticipated is scheduled for launch only in March/April 2013. This bike is expected to compete with other Japanese bikes once it is successfully launched in the country.
While biking enthusiasts await the 390 Duke, there are specifications of KTM RC8 and 350 EXC which are equally exciting. KTM RC8 is fitted with a 1148cc 4 stroke engine offering 210.74 hp power at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 120 Nm at 8000 rpm. It will possess curb weight of 210 kgs and dry weight of 188 kgs along with 110mm of ground clearance. The fuel tank will have capacity of 16.5 ltrs
KTM 350 EXC on the other hand will possess a single cylinder four stroke engine with a 5 speed gearbox. It will weigh 108.5 kgs dry weight and will have ground clearance of 345 mm as it sits on a wheelbase of 1,482mm. Fuel tank capacity will be at 7.50 liters and it will be available in color options of orange, black and white. This Orange Day was European Racing Legend’s 2nd in Mumbai, and allows customers experience KTM 200 Duke racing genes.
