At the EICMA 2016, KTM unveiled the Duke 790 prototype. Expect the same engine, transmission and chassis to feature on this upcoming adventure KTM, which will most probably be launched next year.

The 800 Adventure gets spoke wheels and long travel suspension.

The upcoming 790 Adventure which is based on a new twin-cylinder platform, which is expected to be the most affordable member of the brand’s Adventure family, that is until the 390 adventure is launched in 2019.

The test mule appears to be sporting makeshift bodywork is equipped with spoke wheels and an upward swooping exhaust canister. These elements indicate that the new KTM will be a hardcore middle weight off-roader.

The upcoming KTM off-roader will rival the Honda Africa Twin.

The new twin-cylinder 790 cc liquid-cooled engine will be the most powerful engine in its segment, KTM confirmed. A long travel inverted telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock constitute the suspension system. We expect the suspension system to be fully adjustable.

KTM will first launch the Duke 790 street fighter. This will be followed by the 800 Adventure.
