KTM Duke 390 Stealth Black at Bangalore dealership

KTM Dukes, often seen in a combination of brilliant orange and black, attracts many younger and more adventurous riders in the country, but this color scheme does not really appeal to all Indian riders. It is for this reason that a Bangalore dealership has toned the color scheme in KTM Duke 390 Stealth Black paint giving it a new appeal.

KTM Duke 390 was showcased at the 2016 EICMA, show and was launched in India earlier this year. It has instantly attracted buyers in the country and came in with minor changes among which were better riding capabilities and new instrumentation. 2017 KTM 390 Duke continues to be powered by a 373cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder fuel injection engine tweaked with ride by wire system and meeting Euro IV emission norms.

Mated to 6-speed gearbox, 43.5 PS power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. Duke 390 features 43 mm upside down front forks, and monoshock in the rear. Brakes: 320 mm front disc four-piston radial caliper. 230 mm rear disc with a single piston floating caliper.

KTM Duke 390 Stealth Black is available at higher price of INR 10,000 over the regular orange and black colored 390 Duke, which is available at a price of INR 2.67 lakhs, on-road Mumbai. The extent of blacking the bike is exhaustive: Black alloy wheels, and headlamp and fuel tank in black. The trellis, and rear subframe remain unchanged in orange and white. Duke lettering is in orange and not white.

KTM has also been seen actively testing two new motorcycles based on the 2017 KTM Duke. These include the KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Scrambler. Both seen testing, appear to be test mules and not production ready motorcycles and are expected to go on display at the 2017 EICMA show early next month.
