KTM RC 390 modified to look like KTM RC8, for just INR 50,000

Modification experts, Autologue Design, from Pune have offered a new kit on the KTM RC 200 and KTM RC 390 which will transform it into a more appealing KTM RC8. The kit is known as the KTM RCX and not only makes the bike smarter in appeal but also ensures that it is higher on performance – all at INR 50,000 over its sticker price.

The bolt on kit on the KTM RC 200 and RC 390 comes in inspired from the KTM RC8. It is seen with Red Bull livery a host of new features all of which only add around 3 kgs to its overall weight. The kit includes a headlamp section inspired by the RC 690 concept model while projector lamps are also RC inspired though sporting a new vertical design.

The Kit

KTM RCX kit also presents seating in a two seat configuration. It includes a BMC air filter and Race Dynamics ECU which overall enhances performance of the bike making it more race oriented. Autologue Design has worked on these updates for over a year.

Though overall weight increases by 4 kgs, the designers state that carbon or race versions will see a reduction in 1-4 kgs of weight. Autologue Design is well versed in the making of carbon fiber parts and works in collaboration with Taneja Aerospace to build aircraft grade CF parts.

Speaking about engine, it remains same as usual. The RC 200 is powered by a 200 cc engine which delivers 24.65 Bhp @ 10000 rpm and 19.2 Nm @ 8000 rpm while the RC 390 delivers 43 Bhp @ 9000 rpm and 35 Nm @ 7000 rpm. Both are mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
