KTM RC 390 – RC Cup Series edition – specs, features, price
2015 RC Cup is a five-round racing series that will take place alongside MotoAmerica AMA / FIM North American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship events. Budding racers between the age of 14 and 22 can participate in the RC Cup, provided they have valid AMA Superstock Limited license and RC 390 Cup race bike.
2015 KTM RC 390 Cup race bikes are designed specifically for this race with over 40 PowerParts and other improvements over the regular model. This edition is not street-legal and the road-going version is not to be brought for this race, they are allowed in regional club events.
Features in 2015 KTM RC 390 Cup race bikes include fully adjustable WP Racing fork, WP Racing shock with settings for spring preload, length and high / low-speed compression & rebound damping; titanium Akrapovic exhaust, racing front visor, fairing, tail piece and belly pan; RC8 R-style throttle assembly, CNC-machined folding brake & clutch levers, and CNC-machined rearset foot-pegs.
Each unit will be dyno-tested and tuned accurately to 38 hp. Engine will be sealed and only HMC Racing (KTM’s trackside partner) is allowed to service.
