Italian design house Zagato is well versed with modifying supercars. Their latest offering is in the form of Lamborghini Gallardo 5-95 which has been signed off to Swiss Lamborghini collector named Albert Spiess who is an avid collector of rare and one off models. It also marks the occasion of the Italian design firms 95th birthday from 1919 to 2014.
This new Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato beats tradition with clear cut, razor sharp fighter jet style edges, and in its stead, opts for smoother and a more rounder design and a double mouth front end style as seen on the Aston Martin One-77. Zagato used the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 as inspiration and redid its exteriors to incorporate some similarities from the older Zagato concept, Spyker C12 seen at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show.
Lamborghini and Zagato initially collaborated on the Lamborghini 3500 GTZ over 50 years ago. Ever since then, the automaker and design house have brought out two Lamborghini Diablo models, Zagato Raptor and Lamborghini Canto while Zagato also designed an SUV concept for Lamborghini in 1997 called Lamborghini LM003 Borneo.
