Inspired from Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50th anniversary edition, of which only 50 units are built and each costing a whopping $750,000, the speedboat is built at a price of $1.3 million (Rs 8 crores).
The Lamborghini Aventador speedboat and the 50th Anniverary Aventador above are owned by Gino Gargiulo, a restaurant mogul in Miami. He made sure that he was amongst the only 50 individuals in the world to own this special Aventador and once he got the car, he was awestruck by its intricate design and impeccable finish.
His love for this Aventador led to the birth of this one of a kind speedboat, which took more than a year to build. The floating Lamborghini Aventador is powered by two 1350 Mercury bi-turbo engines which together generates up to 2700 hp. This power translates into a top speed of 300 kmph (186 mph).
The yellow black Lamborghini Aventador speedboat sports every detail from its on road counterpart. This includes bucket seats, instrument cluster, head and tail lamps, steering wheel and air vents. Dashboard design is also the same with start button positioned beneath a small red lid.
This is not the first time Gino has built a speedboat inspired from a speedboat. In 2007, he had built a Mercedes speedboat inspired from his SLR. Apart from Gina, there are other millionaires who have a fancy for building speedboats inspired by their supercars. Like the LaFerrari speedboat which is powered by two 900 hp Volvo engines and sports five flat screen TVs and state of the art leather interiors. The list is huge.
