Lamborghini Gallardo Crash Surabaya Indonesia

It was on the morning of November 29, 2015 that WL, a resident of Dharmahusada Surabaya rammed his Lamborghini into a crowd of people, killing one man and seriously injuring two others.

Following mass uproar, WL has been sent to jail while police are conducting further investigation into the accident. The deadly car crash saw Kuswanto, 41, killed, while his wife, Srikanti, 41 was seriously injured along with Mujianto, 44, a seller of a milk based energy drink.

Eyewitnesses claim that the Lamborghini driven by WL was speeding prior to it losing control and hitting the vendor stall and people standing around it. CCTV footage has also been inspected which also indicates a red Ferrari along the same route as the Lamborghini.

Apparently the two cars were involved in a race of speed along the route. Eyewitnesses state that they saw the two sportscars at around 5 am near the KFC outlet, just 500 meters from the scene of the accident while they state that drivers revved up their engines at 5.20 am shortly after which the accident occurred.

The police have identified the Ferrari driver as Bambang while CCTV footage also shows that the Ferrari stopped for a while at the intersection following the accident but then went on along its way. Bambang has since been summoned for questioning as has been indicated by spokesperson for Surabaya Police traffic unit Adhika Ginanjar Widhisana.
