This model went on to be a major seller for the Italian automaker. Now a decade later, the final Lamborghini Gallardo, an LP 570-4 Spyder Performante has rolled off production line on November 25, 2013, and is slated to make its way to an unnamed private collector in the next few weeks. This final example numbered 14,02,2 is a drop top that is painted a rich Rosso Mars red.

The Gallardo has been a success story right throughout its entire lifespan. The company has sold a total of 30,000 units out of which half have been Gallardos. Prior to the entry of the Gallardo, the company used to sell a total of just 250 units per year but post the introduction of Gallardo sales figures increased to a total of 2000 units per year.

As the final Gallardo departs from the company plant, Lamborghini gets ready to concentrate on the next supercar which will be either a Cabrera or a Huracan.
