Lamborghini Huracan revealed: Top speed 325 kmph (24 Photos)

Speaking about the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, the manufacturers say that their new car not only replaces the Gallardo, but also redefines the segment. Developed right from scratch, Hurracan will deliver a unique sportscar experience along with easy drivability for everyday use. Just like other Lamborghini car name’s Huracan’s name too is derived from a Spanish fighting bull, of the Conte de la Patilla breed from the 1870’s.

Lamborghini says, that Huracan features a new 7 Speed DCT ‘Lamborghini Doppia Frizione’ (LDF) and fully electronically controlled four-wheel drive system. What this results in, is a 0-100 time of 3.2 seconds, 0-200 time of 9.9 seconds, and a top speed of 325 kmph, for a car that weighs 1,422 kgs (dry). The engine is EU6 compliant, and offers a mileage of 8 kmpl with CO2 emissions of 290 g/km.

On the inside of Lamborhgini Huracan, you will find a futuristic cockpit loaded with state of the art gadgets. All details of the car will be delivered to the driver via a 12.3″ colour screen. This is where you get all your information, right from rev count, speed, navigation, infotainment, etc. You can also set up your driving modes from here. Three driving modes are on offer, STRADA, SPORT and CORSA. Depending on road conditions, you can select your drive mode.

Speaking about production, like other Lamborghini cars, the Huracan too will be produced at Lamborghini’s factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese. A new production line has been set-up for the production of Huracan and deliveries to customers will begin from spring 2014. To showcase their new car, as many as 130 private preview events will take place across 60 major cities in the world, starting January 2014. Price will be announced closer to launch date.
