Huracan EVO RWD Spyder TVC Video – Rewind to Rear Wheel Drive

The new Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD does 0-100 kmph in 3.5 second and has a top speed is 324 kmph

Undaunted by current challenges, leading Italian carmaker Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder on its official website. Rather than limiting it to a video, Lamborghini has utilized advanced Augmented Reality (AR) tech for the virtual reveal. This ensures an immersive experience for users, allowing them to get a real-life look and feel of the car.

Positioned as an instinctive driver’s car, Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder essentially celebrates life in the open air. The car has been designed to be supremely responsive and the fun-to-drive experience is more dependant on the hardware than software. Irrespective of whether the roof is on or off, the Spyder looks spectacular and delivers unparalleled performance.

RWD Spyder matches V10 Lamborghini’s mesmerizing design and yet it has several unique characteristics that give it a distinctive profile. Updates introduced at the front and rear help RWD Spyder to differentiate itself from its 4WD Spyder sibling.

Some key design elements of RWD Spyder include larger framed front air intakes, new front splitter and vertical fins, glossy black rear bumper and a new diffuser. The car is available in a range of colours and there are loads of customization options for customers.

The exhilarating drive experience comes from the V10 aspirated power plant that delivers max power of 610 hp and max torque of 560 Nm. Engine is mated to a 7-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission. The car can reach 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and accelerating to 200 kmph takes 9.6 seconds. Stopping power is just as good, with 100 – 0 kmph achievable at 32.2 meters. The car has hydraulic dual-circuit brake system with vacuum brake servo unit.

A perfect example of lightweight engineering, Huracan EVO RWD Spyder utilizes a hybrid body made from a combination of aluminium and thermoplastic resin. The chassis is made from aluminium and carbon fibre. The car has a dry weight of 1,509 kg and its weight-to-power ratio is 2.47 kg/hp. The suspension system comprises aluminium double-wishbone units that ensure optimized driver feedback.

One of the key features of Huracan EVO RWD Spyder is the Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) that works in conjunction with the three driving modes. Users can switch to STRADA mode for improved safety and stability in all conditions whereas SPORT mode lets you drift, slide and skate as you accelerate. CORSA mode is for higher traction, agility, optimized driving dynamics and speed.

It is not yet certain if Huracan EVO RWD Spyder will be launched in the Indian market. It may be recalled that Lamborghini had launched the Huracan EVO RWD Coupe in India within a month of its international debut. If RWD Spyder is launched in India, it will be priced higher than RWD Coupe that costs Rs 3.22 crore.
