The soft top Lamborghini Huracan Spyder marks its entry into Indian market.

Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is the convertible version of Huracan, which has already been launched in India at INR 3.89 cr (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The open top Huracan comes with a soft top that can be opened and closed in just 18 seconds even when you are on the move. You can operate the soft top on a moving car at speeds of up to 50 kmph.

Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is powered by the same engine as seen on the Huracan coupe. This is in the form of a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine capable of 610 bhp power and 560 Nm torque.

The engine is mated to a 7 speed LDF dual clutch transmission with Drive Select Modes, which sends power to all four wheels. The combination allows acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 324 kmph. The roof will be offered in color options of black, brown and red.

Built of hybrid aluminum and carbon fiber frame, the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder weighs a total of 1,543 kgs, which is around 120 kgs heavier than the coupe. With regard to brakes, the Huracan Spyder receives dual hydraulic circuit brake system with vacuum brake booster.

Braking is performed by carbo-ceramic brakes, with 6 and 4 brake calipers in the front and rear respectively. It also gets Pirelli Pzero tyres and a host of safety features. Interiors boast of both carbon fibre and Alcantara accents.

Apart from launching a new car, Lamborghini India also opened a new showroom in Mumbai today. The Italian automakers are confident that this supercar will find many buyers in the country.
