The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder convertible supercar is set to follow the Huracan LP 580-2 closely to the Indian market. The official Facebook page of Lamborghini Delhi has teased the Huracan Spyder LP 610-4, hinting at an imminent launch.
The streamlined supercar features a lightweight soft roof which can be deployed in a matter of 18 seconds at speeds below 50 kmph. With the roof open, the scintillating note of the naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine becomes all the more audible to the occupants. Like its coupe sibling, the Huracan Spyder continues to dish out an amazing 610 PS and 560 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission transfers power to all the four wheels.
The soft top Spyder is 0-100 in just 3.2-seconds and can hit 200 kmph mark from standstill in merely 10.2 seconds. Top whack stands at an impressive 324 kmph. Lamborghini claims a combined fuel efficiency of 8.3 kmpl.
The Hurcan Spyder LP 610-4 is equipped with ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent MAnagement) with three drive settings – Strada, Sport and Corsa, and is underpinned by an hybrid aluminium-carbon structure which maintains high torsional rigidity despite losing roof.
Lamborghini’s back to back new product launch and Ferrari India‘s opening of its Mumbai and Delhi showrooms indicate that supercar makers have starting looking at India as a promising market.
