A Chinese EV, called Lishidedidong Urban Supercar EV is on sale in China. Inspired from a Lamborghini Aventador, it is not anywhere close to a Lamborghini price or performance but definitely makes head turn.
Lishidedidong Urban Supercar EV is a sporty mini electric car from China with designs borrowed from the Lamborghini Aventador. Sporting sharp cornering angles, large air intakes situated beneath the bumper and aggressive front head lights, this Lamborghini styled Chinese EV is distinguished by its sloping rear window and four tiny rear lights along with an oval shaped exhaust pipe, as is seen on a Lamborghini.
This EV model is produced at Lishededidong New Energy Vehicle Industry in the city of Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province. It is noted for producing a host of other mini and electric vehicles with designs borrowed from existing cars while most are of their own design.
Unlike any Lamborghini, Lishidedidong Urban Supercar EV is an electric car with a 72V electric motor having output of 10 hp and 5 Nm. Its battery is a 42V/10Ah lead acid battery allowing the Urban Supercar to accelerate to a top speed of 80 kmph while range stands at 150 km. measuring 3880mm in length, 1650mm in width and standing 1450mm tall, the Urban Supercar EV sits on a wheelbase of 2600mm and has a curb weight 1200 kgs.
Development work was completed at the end of 2013 while sales commenced in mid 2014 when it was seen with an exciting interior design with a black dashboard and sporty red seats in a 2+2 configuration. Prices of this Lamborghini styled Chinese EV commence from 50.000 yuan ($7,980 or INR 5,00,030).
