LAP party den given a new look in preparation for upcoming 2012 Indian Grand Prix and F1 celebrations

Members Only Club LAP was given a brand new makeover in time for the upcoming events at Buddh International Circuit. The function was attended by celebrities and top personalities of Delhi as the new club was unveiled to a select set of audience on Saturday night. The revamped LAP Club is co owned by Arjun Rampal. The opening is well timed ahead of the Indian F1 Grand Prix which is slated for the end of October at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. In what seems unavoidable now, this could very well be Michael Schumacher’s last F1 race in India lest he comes out of retirement in the near future after the 2012 season.

All parties will be hosted at LAP Club which closed for renovation for over four months to give it a new look and better sound system. Arjun Rampal hopes that Delhi’s party goers are ready for the club as much as the club is ready to give them a pulsating experience. LAP was started 3 ½ years ago while Arjun took over 2 ½ years ago and decided to give it a new look.

There are elevated areas, comfortable sofas, huge paintings, a special DJ console which has been pushed back to ensure more space for visitors while the bar area too has been changed and a new pop up restaurant is planned in the centre of the main club area. The 2012 Indian Grand Prix will be held in the last weekend of October, o.e., 26th-28th. Last month, upward of 30,000 tickets were already sold for the Indian Grand Prix. which this year has a capacity of 95,000 visitors. Most initial F1 ticket bookings have been fro corporate houses. This year sees the introduction of the Jaypee Paddock Club too.
