The company plans to open more showrooms in India. To begin with, thse 2 bikes will be sold as CBU’s through the new standalone Kawasaki dealership in Pune.
The reason to go alone with Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R for India is that both bikes need special attention. At present Bajaj is not equipped to handle these needs as such, probiking will not be involved in selling and servicing now.
Suspension mirror headlights, taillights, turn indicator are components that India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) will import. In savings, exporting from India gives Kawasaki benefits of 30% or more. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, powered by a 998cc inline four liquid cooled engine accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and 0 to 160 kmph in 5.5 seconds with top speed limited to 300 kmph. Kawasaki plans to introduce more bikes here each year. Though not much was divulged today, they need not be Ninja’s.
