New Lexus NX300h SUV luxury SUV made its India debut today. Though official price has not been revealed, company confirmed that it will be about Rs 60 lakhs. Official price will be revealed in Jan 2018. This is the fourth model being offered by Toyota’s luxury arm Lexus in India and bookings have already opened at a down payment of INR 5 lakhs. Deliveries are likely to be scheduled within 6 months.
Lexus NX300h SUV is the company’s smallest SUV offering. It is positioned below the RX450h hybrid SUV already on sale in India and will be brought in as a fully imported unit. Set to compete against the likes of Mercedes GLA and Audi Q3, it may be noted that these competitors are locally assembled.

It receives quality interiors with leather upholstery and 10.3″ touchscreen infotainment. Engine option on offer includes a 2.5 liter petrol hybrid four cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine offering combined output of 202 bhp power and 213 Nm torque. This power is sent to front wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox. It delivers a ARAI certified 18.32 kmpl.
The Japanese luxury automaker, Lexus, currently sells four models in India among which are the ES300h sedan, LX450d and RX450h besides the RC F sportscar which is sold as per specific order. For those keen on the brand, Lexus NX300h SUV is to be the company’s most affordable offering in India at a price tag slightly lower than the entry level ES sedan.
