The limited edition Smart Forjeremy on display at auto Shanghai from April 21st to 29th will be going into production in the following month. The vehicle was designed by world renowned fashion designer Jeremy Scott and only a few models will be up for grabs once production starts. The limited edition vehicle will be available in three engine variants viz., 55kW electric motor version, a 60kW electric motor version and a 75kW petrol engine version. Highlight of the Smart Forjeremy will be a pair of exterior wings that showcases the designers’ vision of fashion in automotive design.
Tridion safety cell, radiator grille and door safety caps are painted in alubeam while the body panels and 16”/17” wheels have been with a polar white paint scheme in BRABUS drive variants. Interiors too are finished in a predominantly white color scheme which includes seats, door panels, kneepads, gear knob (petrol variant only) done up with white embossed leather with white stitching.
Top part of the dashboard is covered in black embossed leather with white stitching while the three spoke steering wheel is covered with white leather. Contrasting effect is created as instrument panel trim and gearshift trim are finished in alubeam. Floor mats will further enhance interior design as they come embossed with ‘Jeremy Scott’ lettering. The 2013 Shanghai Motor Show is also showcasing other smart vehicles including smart forstars. Dr. Annette Winkler, Head of smart at the Auto Shanghai 2013 presented the smart tailor made Brabus edition too.
