Lovely Professional University (LPU) today unveiled its next generation automobiles. Students will exhibit 20 Concept Cars & Projects at Auto Expo-2014. Students of Lovely Professional University (LPU) are set to present their auto industry innovations. Students & faculty members are will showcase 15 vehicles and five other novel automobile productions at the Auto Expo-2014 in India on 5th Feb 2014.

These revolutionary designs, ahead of time include the world’s first family solar car, mobile operated driverless Car, world’s smallest car, Unique bikes, multi-‘ energy ‘Smart Hybrid Car’, Hybrid Cryogen Engine, All Terrain Vehicles, and Hexa Copter, amongst others. The ‘Metal Boy-from original Cars’ will also be on display at Auto Expo- 2014.

This project is a sneak peek into the talent and innovation at LPU. Conceptualized on both inventive and practical factors, these vehicles would be commercialized later. Many of these are going to challenge big corporate houses. I am overwhelmed with the originality and creativity displayed by the students and wish them all the best in their future endeavours”

‘Retro Voiture’, is the world’s smallest car designed on a vintage model. Smart Hybrid Car is fuel efficient car, and can only be driven by an authorized person. Unique bikes will seen getting power from dual energy sources, Accessories like Hybrid Cryogen Engine which uses nitrogen to make it fuel efficient will be on display. Hexa Copter is a future messenger used for air surveillance or high altitude photo shoots.

LPU’s Robotics Intelligent Systems Community students’ organization’s exhibit ‘ Metal Boy’ comprises of 12 Maruti-800 cars. This structure is supposed to be a world record.
