Lucky number 3 lakh for Fiat India plant


Fiat India rolled out its 300,000th car from its state-of-the-art Ranjangaon plant in Pune. Fiat India Automobiles Ltd (FIAL), a JV between Fiat S.p.A and Tata Motors also produces and supplies petrol and diesel engines Maruti Suzuki and TATA Motors in India.

Fiat_LineaThe Ranjangaon facility supports both partners, Fiat and Tata Motors, and last year, the 500,000th engine was produced at the plant. Both JV partners uphold that the Ranjangaon facility will continue to produce world class products in demonstrating engineering ingenuity to keep pace with today’s car needs.

Ranjangaon manufacturing facility has been fruitful in leveraging synergetic benefits and continues to tap into the potential that the growing Indian market offers. The plant will be used to manufacture new vehicles to be launched by both Fiat and Tata Motors.

Fiat India Automobiles manufacturing facility spreads over 200 acres and employs 4000 highly personnel, directly or indirectly employed by the plant.
