Just limited to 7 units, the highly exclusive Lykan HyperSport will be a part of the Abu Dhabi police fleet. Priced at $3.4 million, the supercar beats the Aston Martin One-77 and $1 million Bugatti Veyron that is already used by the Dubai police force.
The Abu Dhabi police and Dubai police have an ongoing competition on which fleet consists of prize supercar collections with the Dubai police being in the lead with an array of supercars right from a Bugatti Veyron, Astom Martin One-77, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, Ferrari FF, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Nissan GT-R and an Audi R8 besides a Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Continental, Lexus RC f and Renault Twizy.
Lykan HyperSport supercar with diamonds on headlights and a gold-plated roof, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 395 kmph, thus making it ideal as a highway patrol vehicle. Manufactured by Lebanese company W Motors, the Lykan HyperSport is powered by a 3.7 liter twin turbo flat six engine offering 740 hp peak power and 737 lb/ft torque mated to 7 speed gearbox.
Now officially a part of the Abu Dhabi police fleet, the Lykan HyperSport receives titanium LED headlights, a full police spec light bar and various other updates to suit the requirements of the Abu Dhabi police department.
