Made in India Kawasaki Ninja 300 sales cross 1,000 units in record time

Kawasaki Ninja 300

For those in the market for a 300cc bike, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a name that gets mentioned ever so often. And it’s served the company in good stead. As it stands, the company has now announced that it has now sold a 1,000 units of the Kawasaki Ninja 300. The sales spurt has largely been boosted with the commencement of local manufacturing that has made its price point an endearing one.

Mid 2018, the company was able to introduce the Kawasaki Ninja 300 in a new avatar, a highly localised one. With the new development, the company was able to offer a much welcome price benefit to buyers. At the time of change, the price benefit stood at Rs 80k. The CBU variant without ABS retailed at Rs 3.63 lakh, ex-showroom.

Bracing for change in mandates, the India-made Ninja 300 features ABS as standard. This was a development well within time since ABS as a standard feature was mandatory for a bike in the 300cc starting April 1, 2019. With plenty of time in hand, the company was also able to sell the previous cache of Ninja 300’s at an attractive price so as to not be left dealing with unsold stock at the penultimate minute.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 features a high-tensile steel frame for improved chassis stability. It’s race tech based assist and slipper clutch functionality includes back-torque limiter and self-servo mechanism for lighter clutch lever pull. In its current avatar, the bike features dual headlamps, and an updated instrument console.
