Mahindra Bolero sales cross 1.5 lakh units in FY 19 – Highest ever annual sales

Mahindra Bolero Pickup has scaled to new heights in terms of sales in FY2019 (1st Apr 2018 – 31st Mar 2019). Sales have touched the 1,62,000 unit mark in the last financial year, a 9 percent increase as compared to sales of 1,49,121 units in FY2018. This is its highest ever annual FY sales ever since the Pickup was launched. A stellar sales performance has managed to capture 58 percent market share in the 2-3.5 tonne LCV segment.

Mahindra Bolero Pickup is available at a price between Rs.5.9 – 7.6 lakhs, ex-sh. Mahindra offers a wide range in this segment, each of which boasts of comfort, convenience and technology features and caters to the customer’s demands in terms of value and efficiency.

The Mahindra Pickup range, which maintains its market leadership, consists of four product ranges – Bolero Pick Up, Bolero Maxi Truck, Bolero Camper and Imperio. Over time, Mahindra has continuously strived to update each of its products, and have been able to bring to the marketplace, it’s first AC pickup, first 4×4 Pickup, first Double Cabin Pick up, first CNG pick up and first Micro Hybrid Pick up.

At present the Indian pick-up segment registers sales of over 14,000 vehicles per month, and growth has been in the uptick. With 58 percent market share in FY-2019, Mahindra pick ups have established a leading path in the currently small sales segment.

Mahindra Bolero Pickup measures 5,215 mm in length, 1,670mm in width and 1,865mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,264mm while ground clearance is at 200mm. It boasts of rugged exteriors with the industry payload of 1,700 kgs and the longest cargo deck of 2,765mm. It is offered in 2WD, 4WD, CBC and CNG variants. There is also the Bolero Camper which is a double cabin pickup powered by Mahindra Di engine and offered in 2WD, 4WD and Gold versions suited to the demands of builders, contractors and infrastructure companies in the country.

The Imperio on the other hand is a premium offering in the pickup segment. It gets powered by a DI engine offering 75 bhp power and 220 Nm torque and comes in with the latest in Fuel Smart technology, brakes with LSPV and telematics.
