Mahindra and Mahindra used the 2012 Delhi Auto Show platform showcase a number of two wheelers and among them was the Duro DZ. The model will be officially presented to the audience soon, and is sure to go on to be a best seller for the company post this week’s showcasing. Mahindra Two Wheelers upholds utility and performance in the Duro DZ and Mahindra MGP30.
The new Mahindra Duro DZ is powered by a 125 cc engine that offers enhanced better instant pick-up on Indian road conditions, apart from making possible multi-terrain acceleration. The Duro DZ advanced telescopic suspension makes for a smooth ride. The new 125cc from Mahindra Two Wheelers comes with superior ground clearance that paves the way for better maneuvering over rough roads, and speed breakers, keeping bumps at bay and making each ride comfortable and easy.
Mahindra Duro DZ has a long wheel base. The vehicle’s improved braking system guarantee improved stability and safety on road. Here’s a family scooter that makes rides on Indian roads a cruise. President, Mahindra 2 Wheelers, Anoop Mathur had this to say. “At Mahindra 2 Wheelers, we have worked hard to enhance our technological capabilities in an effort to Rise and introduce high performance two wheelers. Testimony to which is the new Mahindra Duro DZ scooter, which is a tough and powerful scooter designed specifically for Indian road conditions. The Duro DZ is a direct by-product of a customer centric approach adopted by M2W, which includes extensive pre-launch product testing. The Duro DZ compliments our product portfolio which currently boasts the popular Rodeo and Flyte. We will shortly be re-launching the Stallio, our 110 cc motorcycle which is currently completing extensive customer trials and showing very encouraging results.”
Despite being a smallish two wheeler, Mahindra Duro DZ is perfectly designed to take on tough conditions of Indian roads. It has already been reviewed by experts in the industry who have said that this would be the best scooter in the country. It has a host of superior features yet to be seen on a two wheeler besides a rather affordable price which is sure to attract buyers. What is left to be seen is how it stands up against the very spirited Piaggio Vespa scooters that are marking their comeback in the Indian two wheeler this year. Mr Viren Popli, Vice President of Mahindra Two Wheelers has said that Duro DZ is sure to be highly popular once it is formally introduced in the Indian bike market. Duro DZ wasn’t Mahindra Two Wheelers only offering at the 2012 Delhi Auto Show 2012, with the Mahindra MGP30 drawing adequate attention.
