Mahindra eSupro was showcased earlier this year at the Auto Expo. Finally launched in India, it is offered in both cargo and passenger variants.
Touted as India’s first electric van, Mahindra eSupro is powered by the same engine as seen on the eVerito sedan in the form of a 73.2V AC induction motor offering 40.2 hp at 3,000 rpm and 90 Nm torque at 3,000 rpm.
Mahindra e Supro will share dimensions with the regular Supro. It will stand 3,798 mm in length, 1,540 mm in width and 1,922 mm in height while it has a wheelbase measuring 1,950 mm. It gets 155/80 R13 tubeless tyres wrapped around 5 spoke alloy wheels.
Featuring a 200Ah battery pack, it can be charged fully in 8.5 hours and delivers a driving range of 112 km for passenger variant and 115 km for the cargo variant. It has a top speed of 60 kmph.
