From tomorrow onwards, sale of vehicles with BSIII complaint engines will be illegal. Even if you manage to purchase one, it will not get registered by the RTO. Keep wary of dealers who will try to sell the BSIII vehicles to you tomorrow onwards.
On the contrary, it is perfectly safe to buy a BSIII two wheeler today, before midnight 31st March 2017. Mahindra Gusto and Gusto 125 are available at a discount of INR 15,000.
?New Mahindra Gusto 125 is powered by a 125 cc M-TEC single cylinder engine. This engine is basically a larger displacement version of the 109.6cc M-TEC engine which is seen on the Gusto 110. Tweaked to deliver performance, the new 125 cc mill is more peppy than the 110 cc.
The 110 cc engine delivers 9 PS at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The new 125 cc engine is delivers 10 PS power and 10.5 Nm torque. Fuel efficiency claims to be in the region of 60 kmpl.
The new Gusto 125 is based on the same Gusto platform which has been developed exclusively by Mahindra. This new Mahindra scooter will compete against Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access. Mahindra Gusto 125 features the same design elements as seen on the existing Gusto 110. To set the more powerful Gusto apart, it might offer a new 125 badge and new colour options.
