Mahindra Imperio is the new range of pick-up trucks from Mahindra & Mahindra which will replace the existing Genio line-up globally. To be offered in a choice of single cab and double cab variants, Mahindra Imperio comes with a revised exterior design and updated features.
Speaking about exterior updates, the new Mahindra Imperio gets a new grille with silver accents, new wraparound headlamps, circular foglight and air intakes on the bumper. The headlights also feature clear lens indicator. There are not much changes on the side and rear of the new Imperio as compared to the existing Genio.
Spied already, we can confirm that the interiors of new Mahindra Imperio are borrowed from the Genio / Xylo. Based on the same platform, Imperio interiors features a very similar instrument control panel and steering wheel. In addition, there will be a powerful AC and an improved music system along with the Imperio.

Power to the new Mahindra Imperio will be via a 2.5 liter 4 cyl diesel engine, retained from the existing Genio range. Apart from this, there will be new drive modes – Power and Eco. This is something which is completely new in the pick-up truck segment. To be offered with only 2WD, export spec will also get a 4×4 variant.
