Positioned at the top of Mahindra sub 3.5 tonne range, the Mahindra Imperio pickup truck is offered in Single Cab and Double Cab variants, compliant with BSIII and BSIV emission norms. Essentially a revamped version of the Genio mid premium LCV that is no longer on sale in the country, the Mahindra Imperio pickup truck is launched exclusively for sale within the country while exports are not planned as on date.
Mahindra Imperio front is completely revamped with a toothed front grille and silver accents besides a honeycomb mesh. Its façade is dominated by wraparound rectangular headlamps, sporty bumper design and distinguishing looking fog lamps.

Mahindra Imperio interiors are borrowed from the Genio / Xylo – with similar three spoke steering wheel design, instrument dials in white along with a curved central console. Top end variant sports AC, power windows, engine immobilizer and keyless entry besides bucket seats, 2 DIN music system and illuminated keychain.

Mahindra Imperio developed to cater to the demands of small and medium businesses has a payload capacity of 1,240 kgs and sits on 16” tubeless tyres. It is powered by a 2.5 liter diesel engine offering 75 bhp power and 220 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Top speed stands at 120 kmph while fuel efficiency according to ARAI is pegged at 13.55 kmpl.
Mahindra Imperio is being produced from the company plant in Chakan near Pune and will be available in three metallic colors of Lava Red, Verve Blue and Arctic White. Mahindra Imperio will compete with the likes of Isuzu D-Max in India.
