To promote their new compact SUV, Mahindra has launched a new contest on the Dubsmash platform. All you have to do in order to participate is to create a dubsmash video expressing your reaction when you first saw the photo of Mahindra KUV100. Winner of the contest stands a chance to win KUV100 for free.
The first dubsmash video in this contest was submitted by none other than Varun Dhawan, the brand ambassador of this vehicle. In a few days, many have submitted their entries in the contest. Surprisingly, the activity has also caught the attention of Anand Mahindra, Chairman and MD, Mahindra Group. Below is the dubsmash video which he posted on twitter.

Slated for launch in India on January 15, 2016, the Mahindra KUV100 will be powered by new mFalcon engine lineup. The petrol variant will receive a 1.2 liter three cylinder engine capable of 82 bhp peak power at 5,500 rpm while the 1.2 liter three cylinder diesel engine will offer 77 bhp peak power. Both engines will be mated to 5 speed manual gearbox with an AMT variant to come in later.

Mahindra KUV100, where KUV stands for ‘Kool Utility Vehicle’, will be presented in four variants – K2, K4, K6 and K8 with the K8 being the top end variant. This 6 seater SUV will be spacious and is dominated by a dashboard and central console positioned in such a way to make way for middle occupant in first row.
Safety features on board the Mahindra KUV100 include dual airbags, ABS, engine immobilizer, central locking system, etc Pricing is slated to start at INR 4. lakhs going upto INR 7.5 lakhs for the top end variant. Once launched, Mahindra KUV100 will compete with a host of offerings in the mid side hatchback segment that include Ford Figo, Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Swift, Nissan Micra and the Renault Pulse.
