With just a little over a fortnight to go for the launch of the Mahindra KUV100, variant-wise features have been revealed by a forum member of The Automotive India. The mini crossover would be offered in four trim levels – K2, K4, K6 and K8. Save for the K8 which will be offered with standard dual front airbags, all the other variants offer this feature as an optional extra. When the customers opt for the dual front airbags, ‘+’ gets added to the trim badge.
The base KUV100 K2 is offers ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, body colored bumper, power steering with tilt, HVAC, gear indicator, front arm rest, LED indicators, rear spoiler, illuminated key holes etc. The K4 adds body colored door handles and ORVMs, wheel arch cladding, hubcaps, mud flaps, power windows, central locking and folding rear seats.
The K6 trim is packed with chrome front grille, roof mounted antenna, roof rails, blacked out B-pillar, rub strips, keyless entry, driver seat height adjustment, cooled glove box, googles holder, electrically adjustable ORVMs, Follow-me home and lead-me-to vehicle lamps, audio system with 6 speaker, and Power and Eco drive modes. In addition to the dual airbags, the K6+ also adds steering-mounted audio controls.
The range-topping Mahindra KUV100 K8 is adds standard dual airbags, Micro Hybrid System (start/stop), LED DRLs, foglamps, ORVM-mounted puddle lamps, alloy wheels, silver trims for rear door handles and strategically located chrome accents.

To recap, the Mahindra KUV100 will be powered by new 77 bhp diesel and 82 bhp petrol engines, both displacing 1.2-litre (3-cylinders). Transmission is a 5-speed unit.
