Mahindra Marazzo, the shark inspired MPV, has been launched in India. New Mahindra Marazzo is being projected by the company as a premium MPV to take on the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta. It will be available in four variants – M2, M4, M6 and M8. All variants are powered by a new 1.5 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine which delivers 123 hp and 300 Nm. It is mated via 6 speed manual transmission. Fuel efficiency claimed is 17.6 kmpl as per ARAI.
At the time of launch, only manual transmission will be on offer. Automatic Marazzo launch will take place at a later date. Petrol engine is not on offer. Standard safety features on offer are dual airbags with passenger airbag off switch, ABS with EBD (electronic brake distribution) and BA (brake assist), speed sensitive door lock / unlock. Mahindra Marazzo M2 variant is the base entry level trim. It will come with features like Engine immobilizer, Fabric seat upholstery, 16-inch steel wheels, Central locking 12V power outlet, Power windows, Digital clock, USB charging point for rear passenger, Roof-mounted rear AC vents, Manual HVAC control, and Manually adjustable wing mirrors.
Mahindra Marazzo M4 variant gets Full wheel caps, Driver’s seat height adjust, Shark fin antenna, USB and AUX for rear passenger, USB socket for front row, Voice messaging system, Rear wiper and washer, and Electrically adjustable wing mirrors.
Mahindra Marazzo M6 variant gets Front and rear fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, Cornering lamps, Projector headlamps with follow me home feature, Adjustable lumbar support for front seats, Premium fabric upholstery, Conversation mirror, Remote keyless entry, Sunglass holder, Illuminated passenger-side vanity mirror, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Navigation, Personal reminder (anniversary, birthday etc), Centre console with Tambor door, Steering mounted controls for audio and other functions, Emergency call feature, and Rear parking sensors.
Mahindra Marazzo M8 gets LED daytime running lamps, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, Dual USB sockets for front and rear passengers, Leatherette seating upholstery, Cooled glovebox with illumination, Puddle lamps, Cruise control, Infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Automatic climate control, Reverse camera with display, and Power folding and adjustable wing mirrors.
