More than five years after Mahindra first showcased the Mojo, the company has finally launched the motorcycle in India. Touted as India’s first sports tourer, price of Mahindra Mojo starts from INR 1.58 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi. This price will be valid till all bookings made before Diwali 2015, after that price will be increased.
To be launched phase-wise, in the first phase Mahindra Mojo will be available in four cities – New Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Mumbai. A total of 10 Mahindra Two Wheelers dealerships in these four cities will be taking care of sales and service of the new Mojo. More dealerships and cities will be included in coming days.
To give Mojo buyers an enhanced experience, Mahindra says that they have created, what they call as MOJO Zone – a shop-in-shop concept in line with the expectations of this discerning consumer segment.
Apart from this, they have also created a club for Mojo owners across India, called Mojo Tribe. The club will regularly hold rides (called ‘Trails of MOJO TRIBE’) for owners of Mojo and organize activities that will enhance the biking experience, claims the company. The first of such consumer trails will be flagged off on 17th October at Bengaluru.
Bookings of the Mahindra Mojo begun a couple of days ago via invitation. The company says, they already have 100 buyers of the new Mojo.
Those who have already booked the Mahindra Mojo, will start getting deliveries from today. For those who wish to buy new Mojo, and are not from the the four aforementioned cities, you can book one online at www.mahindramojo.com, starting from tomorrow.
